Regardless of how you edit your underwater video
you must have an appreciation of how a story can flow so
that you will know the type of shot you need to get.
They are two ways you can shooting underwater video. On one
level a shot is merely graphic. We consider subject, shot type, camera
angle. On another level is the narrative implication of how the shot
advances the story.
What makes a good
video stand out from a mundane video is structure. The key is to not only to
just think in shots but also to think in scenes. A scene is a collection of
shots related to the same subject.
